Carrots (cut into long slices)
1 cup besan/gram flour
Salt to taste
2 tbsp rice flour
1 tsp red chilli powder
Bit of asafoetida
Oil to fry
Make a thick batter of all ingredients except onions and oil. Dip the carrot pieces in the batter and deep fry in hot oil till golden brown.
Serve hot with chutney/sauce/chat masala.
