Palak vada

Ingredients

2 cups blackgram dal
Salt to taste
2 green chillies
Piece of ginger
1 cup cleaned and chopped palak/spinach
Oil to fry

Soak the dal for 2 hours and grind to smooth paste with ginger and green chillies without adding water. Add salt and chopped spinach and mix well.

Make vadas and fry in hot oil till crisp and done.

Serve hot with chutney/sambar.
