Eggless masala toast


Recipe source: Rekha's version from Plantain leaf blog..One more eggless french toast variety here ..

Ingredients

Bread slices
2-3 tbsp gram flour(besan)
Salt to taste
Finely chopped coriander leaves
1/2 tsp ginger paste
1/2 tsp green chilli paste
1 finely chopped onion
2 tbsp oil

Make a batter of all ingredients except bread and oil. Dip the bread pieces in it and cook on a tava with little oil. Cook on both sides till brown spots appear.

Serve hot with ketchup for a quick and healthy breakfast.

we get something similar back in India as fastfood on the streets...........they stuff potato vegetable inside the pao and then deep fry it in gramflour paste..............im not a great fan of deep frying though i agree it takes you right into carb heaven...........so i think ill give your recipe a shot.........
