Sweet Corn Vegetable Soup



Ingredients (Translation)

1 cup corn
3 cups water
1 tbsp Corn flour
Salt to taste
Bit of Sugar (optional)
Boiled peas and small pieces of carrot, coriander leaves (optional)
1/2 tsp Soya sauce
1/2 tsp chilli sauce


Cook the corn and keep some seperately. Grind the remaining corn with little peas.

In a pan, add water, grinded corn and corn flour and mix well on low flame.

Add the remaining ingredients and when the soup becomes thick. Now add the boiled peas, small pieces of carrot and the corn kept seperately. Garnish with very few coriander leaves and serve.

Corn soups is one of my favourite soups. Whenever I got to chinese restaurants, it is one of the things I always order. And in Trinidad and Tobago, they make a really good corn soup that's sold by vendors in the evenings and also at festival times :)

hey u know what, I had sweet corn soup from a hotel just yesterday night and I was wondering how to prepare it, came across this recipe , now shud definitly try it:) thanks for the recipe!
