Mint Pulav


Ingredients

2 cups rice
2 tsp oil
1 medium bunch of mint leaves
2 green chillies
1/2 tsp ginger paste
Salt to taste
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
2 tbsp grated coconut
2 cloves
1 bay leaf
2 cardamoms

Heat little oil, add the mint leaves and fry for 3 to 4 minutes. Grind it along with coconut, ginger and green chillies.

Heat the rest of the oil, add cloves, bayleaf and cardamom. Add turmeric and the masala paste and cook till the raw smell goes off.

Add salt and cooked rice and mix well.

Serve with raita of your choice.
