Urad dal rotis
Made these plain rotis with leftover
urad dal poori dough. The rotis were very soft because of the blackgram dal.

This is new to me. Looks wonderful!
What are the odds? I reserved some urad daal batter, which I thought was excess after grinding for idli. I was wondering what to do with it. I think I'm going to try this chapathi.
As mentioned yesterday I did try this combination and the result was very soft chapathis. I think hereafter I'm going to reserve some urad dal batter while grinding for idlis.
