Ingredients
4 dosas cut into small pieces
2 tsp oil
1 tsp mustard seeds
1 tsp blackgram dal
1 tsp bengalgram dal
1 onion chopped
2 green chillies slit
Few curry leaves
Finely chopped coriander leaves
Heat oil, add mustard seeds. When it splutters, add blackgram dal, bengalgram dal, curry leaves and green chillies. Add onions and fry for 2 minutes. Add the dosa pieces and mix well. Sprinkle little water and cook covered for 2-3 minutes on low heat. Add chopped coriander leaves and mix well.
Serve hot with chutney or sambar.
Optional-You can make it healthier by adding some vegetables and tomatoes to the upma.

Looks so yumm.
I make doas only once a while and then just the correct amount so there is never left over, wish i had known this dish when i was still living at home when there was always left over dosa.
i should send this recipe for my sis in b'lore, so she can make this for her kids as tiffin when they come back from school.

Great way to use up leftovers!
Recently a friend had sent this dish home...it was tasty. What caught my attention was that the dosas were white, almost like appams. I was informed that it was a traditional dish at their place.
