Set Dosa

This Set dosa recipe is adapted from Sagari's Indian Cooking blog. It turned out to be very tasty and soft...

Ingredients

2 Cups rice
1 Cup poha
1 Cup curds
1 tsp Fenugreek seeds
Salt to taste
Bit of Oil

Soak rice, poha and fenugreek seeds in sufficient water for atleast 2 hours.

Grind to a smooth batter and add salt to it. Ferment overnight.

To make dosas...add the curds and mix well. Pour a big ladle of batter on the tava and dont spread it like the normal dosas. Spread out a bit of oil on the sides and cook both sides.

Serve hot with chutney/sambar or any curry.

I am not sure where to post a general comment, so I'll try here.
I am very excited about finding this website. I am fascinated by authentic Indian food and this site appears to be the real deal. I live on Cape Cod in the U.S., so not too sure about finding curry leaves and such, but I do want to learn a new cuisine. Blog seems very rich.
