Have a wonderful break, EC! So, does this payasam have any of the same effects as opium (since it has poppy seeds)? Hee hee.

Never heard of poppy seeds in payasam. I guess the taste of poppy seeds will be overpowered in this dish which is perfect for the Think Spice event. Thanks for the visual treat EC :)

Before grinding the poopy seeds, fry the seeds with 2 tbsp of raw rice until a good aroma. The payasa will be thicker.. & yeah this payasa will definetly make you feel sleppy :D
