Cabbage Cashew Pakoda


Ingredients (Translation)

1 cup Gram Flour
1/2 tsp Red Chilli powder
1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
2 tbsp Rice Flour
1 cup chopped cabbage
Few Cashews
Salt to taste
Oil for frying


Mix all the ingredients well and add little water to form a dough.

Make small balls of it and deep fry in hot oil. Strain out excess oil on a tissue paper.

Serve hot with chutney or sauce.

i tried this recipe.but the cabbage pieces in the outerside of my pakodas became black in colour.do you have any suggestions? i am beginner in cooking.please help me.

@ Anonymous...maybe the flame was very high and oil too hot..try on medium flame so that it gets cooked inside as well and also doesnt turn black
